Harry Kane
Harry Edward Kane, born on 28 July 1993, is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and captains the England national team. Regarded as one of the best strikers in the world, Kane is known for his prolific goalscoring record and ability to link play.
As a young boy, Kane adored players such as English legend David Beckham, ex-Tottenham striker Teddy Sheringham, and retired Brazilian striker Ronaldo. Kane began his career by playing for ‘Ridgeway Rovers,’ a local club, in 1999. However, Kane had a really slow start at the early stage of his career. In 2010, after signing a contract with Tottenham Hotspur he moved on loads to different clubs, including Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich City, and Leicester City. In 2014, Kane scored 31 goals across all competitions, becoming the Premier League's second-highest goalscorer, and was named PFA Young Player of the Year. Kane has achieved several feats with the club, including finishing as the top scorer in the 2015–2016 and the 2016–17 seasons of the ‘Premier League,’ being named the ‘Premier League Player of the Month’ six times, being included in the ‘PFA Team of the Year’ thrice, receiving the ‘Premier League', Golden Boot twice, and becoming the ‘PFA Young Player of the Year once.
Representing the England team, he played in the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup, the U-21 team in the 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification rounds, UEFA Euro 2016, the 2018 World Cup, and the inaugural 2019 UEFA Nations League.
