The design of Liverpool's 2021-2022 home jersey was inspired by the all-red jersey that debuted in 1964. Before that, Liverpool FC had always used white shorts because people believed that all-red could give the team a psychological advantage over their opponents.

The Nike Liverpool kits have a modern look. The Nike Liverpool 21-22 jersey combines red background and bright red applications and is matched with bright crimson lightning stripes to add to the whole jersey.

 The jersey is also matched with a green collar around the neck, the antique Swoosh logo, and the Liver bird badge decorated with historical colors. The neckline and cuffs of the jersey are also decorated with crimson, and this bright color also appears on the socks.

 Whether it is the player version or the fan version, the Liverpool home jersey for the new season is made of 100% renewable polyester fabric. The fibers used to make the renewable polyester fabric come from waste plastic bottles recovered from landfills.
